I have visual snow syndrome. Excessive floaters. Enhanced BFEP, after images/palinopsia, tv static fuzzy vision. PLEASE pray for me guys. I’ve had this for years. It’s been overwhelming. I hate this condition!

i rlly needed this, for me i developed them a week ago at age 24 and cant stop thinking about them an noticing them , for me they make me so anxious because i go down a rabbit hole of researching and worry that im going blind or that i have a ‘retinal tear’ some days i see more than other and then worry that this means im going blind its horrible

yes!! eye floaters used to give me such bad anxiety and I would focus on them so much. after 10 years, happy to report that you do get used to them 🫡 obviously still notice them from time to time, but I no longer panic on sunny days lmao

It’s a brain thing, not an eye thing. Everything is fine but you have to calm yourself again. It because of a super high high level of anxiety and cortisol

My worry is i’m 32, what if they get worse? What will happen when i’m 50, or 60? That’s my concern :(

I just developed them like 8 weeks ago and they’ve been driving me absolutely insane. And YUP I do have an anxious/hypochondriac brain making it 10x worse. Thank you for this ❤️

I've noticed that most people with eye floaters also have visual snow syndrome and i'm one of them, is it a deficiency of some elements in body or smth?

Yess I have a solid 7-8 of them that are there every single day and I try my best to just not pay attention to them. I also have bad vision and wear contacts everyday. Idk if it helps but see if blue light glasses help day to day at all

I developed them over the last couple of years. it’s definitely scary at first but like you said, you start to get used to them and they just become part of your life. As long as you’re keeping up with your eye exams, it will all be okay!! 🫶🏼

the static omg I’ve had that for so long!!!! Like if I look at the wall or like any surface I see like a very subtle thin layer of translucent static!! How long did you have the static before it started to settle out

Mine literally started after a panic attack 🥰 literally I don’t how it’s related, I went to eye doctor 2 months ago and he tested everything and told me eyes are normal, and gave me 2 eyes drop and didn’t do anything
