Turo is great. Until you realize your insurance and your credit card doesn’t cover them in case of damages. Then you have to pay extra for Turo specific insurance and the inconvenience of something happening to the car before your trip where it gets cancelled and now you have to pay increased prices for another car. Fix these problems and Turo is great.

we used Turo for our trip to Oregon a couple weeks ago it was a nightmare. 3 days before our flight the gentleman with the car told us he sold it 2weeks prior and forgot to tell us. He offered us a different car we had no choice so we took it as we landed he told us he wrecked that car. Turo gave us our money back plus 100 dollars but because we now had to book without notice we ended up paying and extra 200 dollars VERY disappointed! Not only did we have to spend more but the hours we had to wait at the airport and the added stress I would not recommend this company

Where I am from, Turo is way cheaper than Enterprise or Hertz. Plus, you can pay via debit card and also pay a deposit and total prior to trip. It is extremely convenient.

Oooooor you can order a three row suburban from enterprise 3 months in advance show up and get told all they have is a Honda hrv. Like what just happened to me 😅
