Ive been dealing with it right now, and its samething its 3 times! he always saying he paid the bills etc. etc. etc but our money is enough to cover all the bills and we have extra for our savings. He is acting like its my fault

My ex and I were on a tight budget trying to pay off debt, so we got weekly allowances. That wasn’t enough for him so he started getting gas several times a week and only putting a few dollars in his tank and getting the rest back in cash. I filed for divorce 3 months later since that was my last straw. 12 years of verbal and emotional abuse and now financial infidelity. I was done

My ex did this and I moved everything out of his name. When at court he contested that action but he lost that argument when I explained to the judge what he did and proved the money was safe and would be available when the assets were split according to the divorce decree. The judge agreed with me.

I make nearly all the money.. my wife comes first.. we have a deal.. any purchase greater than 200 we have to have dual sign off. when I was younger I thought I make it so its mine and I can spend it as I see fit. my wife taught me fiscal responsibility. she took my debit card away 20 years ago.. she gave me envelopes with cash for gas, for food.. if I ran out I was screwed. I earned it back. now I dont spend because I know I will probably die before her and I want her to be ok after that and not hate me.. it took me awhile to learn. my wife is my CFO. I earn it and she makes it grow..
