Yall. The newer version honestly sounds much more healthy and better to me. Sure she was hitting higher notes at 17 but that’s how she ruined her voice honestly because she didn’t have the best technique back then. When you listen, you can hear the strain

The biggest heartbreak is for a singer to lose some of their range. I can’t imagine how hard it has been for her to accept that her earlier high notes are not available to her anymore.

para los que hablan de que baja el tono en el tiempo, tu voz de los 16 no es la misma de los 25, o de los 30, la voz va cambiando, el estilo también, y misma vida hace que tu voz cambie con el tiempo. Así que más que criticarla, la entiendo, porque es un tono difícil, y su voz no es la misma que hace 17 años
