My Roth IRA is with fidelity and I have FXAIX and FZROX. Did not know they were mutual funds (I’m new to this). Do I continue to buy into these? I don’t have my 401k invested in anything, do I buy VTI with my 401. Thank you anything helps im really trying to learn!

So I recently started an UTMA for my 11 year old son. This summer I’m going slowly start teaching him about it because I’m trying to break this generational cycle with him. Don’t want him to be 42 and just getting started like me. But I have 70% in VOO and 30% in QQQM. Would you recommend another growth ETF or are them 2 okay?

I don’t access to VTI in my workplace retirement accounts so I buy 80% FXAIX and 20% FSMAX. In my own IRA and brokerage accounts I buy SCHB because it’s available.

Is there ever a good reason for overlap or should we have as little as possible? For example, JPXN has 13% overlap with VXUS but it’s small and specific to just Japan so 100% of its stocks are in VXUS. Is it better to just have VXUS or is JPXN still okay because it’s more specific to just Japanese companies?
