@wheelingtheworld333: Those out there that have had spinal cord injuries, I see so many that give up. I do believe that everyone with spinal cord injuries or even wheelchair bound needs to be in physical therapy and or occupational therapy depending on your needs. I couldn’t feel or move anything after my accident and was told I would never walk again. I understand the doctors have to give you the worst case scenario. I couldn’t feel or move anything and everyday I would try to move my legs. I met a lady who said the minds a powerful thing and can send signals with the left over nerves. Which I started to be able to feel and move my legs. I got into KAFO’s leg braces two years after my accident. Then I just kept trying more and more to build the muscles in my legs. I now can cycle on a cycling bike, I try to do a lot of exercises for my legs, even muscles memory exercises. Just don’t give up, even if you’re a complete, keep trying to connect the dots. #incompleteparaplegic #spinalcordinjuryrecovery #dontgiveup💪🙏🤩
