i honestly feel like so many people dislike jax because they relate to him, like yes some of the things he says are cringey, but thats just the shows humor. his character is kind of glossed over as the “character who went sideways” or “oh i hate jax because he hates ragatha and bullies gangle” and gangles literally my favorite character but even I can understand why he does it. A) he wants to feel better about himself because hes pretty insecure and still blames himself for the things that happened to his friends who abstracted, and B) He doesn’t want the people he cares about most to know that he DOES care because he’s afraid they might get close to him.
