Life Hack: if you need a specific part to replace a piece of Y2K tech, just go to the thrift store and buy something that has it in there, open it up and find the part. I needed a new motor for my dvd player, so instead of buying a $12 one, I got a broken dvd player from the thrift for $3 and now I have a bunch of spare parts and my DVD player is fixed
