do yall not realise this entire movie was his perspective and we’ll never know what actually happened. That’s how Tom perceived the situation. The movie originally was even supposed to have secenes of summer stopping the scene and showing us what actually happened, implying that some of the things Tom told us were probably exaggerated or straight up not at all how it happened.
