I think whats most important in this conversation is that you’re awareness of those different aspects of your personality and how/whith whom they activate is nothing to be concerned about but to investigate gently & curiously. There’s absolutely nothing wrong or right about it, it just is. I myself know that I can’t put out my full blown ass self in front of family members bc that side of me would scare them away tbh😭 bc I love and appreciate their presence in my life I adjust it, well aware that as soon as I am with my homegirls I can be my unhinged self. But even within some friend groups I understood quickly that I could never go deep with certain ppl bc they could never handle the depth of being a human and I accepted that. I’ll have lots of laughter & fun with them and appreciate it for that. But I know whom to turn to, when I need emotional support. And I’m sure that I myself can’t be everything for one person and that they also have their go-to people to be their true self. Claiming those people are not authentic or real would be the same as pointing myself out as fake and inauthentic. It’s just a matter of preference and that’s okay
