The point of the movie is to prove and show kids and adults, you don’t have to act like someone you aren’t to do something. He didn’t need mermaid magic, managerial promotion, all he needed was to embrace himself. Hillenburg did what others couldn’t outside of Disney. He created a series that continues to beat, continues to make and is generational. While others where making Disney like stories in Nickelodeon a trying to pitch it, Stephen Hillenburg was in his desk doodling a sponge boy. Thank you Stephen Hillenburg.
