@thehappyholiday: The moment my daughter became a WORLD CHAMPION is one of the greatest moments of my life 😭😭😭 In a matter of seconds the world stopped and her dream came true. I will always remember her telling me, “mommy I’m going to win worlds one day…” and me just looking at her thinking- yes baby- you can totally do it…while secretly thinking 🙄🙈 She stopped tumbling after level 3 so to move to level 6 was basically going to be impossible. BUT. GOD. 😭 Mamas…never underestimate the power of your baby’s dreams. It was my job to breathe belief into her. It was her job to do the work. All star cheerleading has cost our family a small fortune but the memories made and life lessons learned are irreplaceable. I look back on this video and cry every time I watch it. It never gets old. Because as a mom your dreams come true when your child’s dream comes true. Now she’s “retired” and her younger sister proudly wears her uniform, following in her footsteps 🥹 And I am committed to doing whatever it takes to support her in chasing her dreams, too. Even if that meant starting a side hustle when I was scared, skeptical, and quite frankly not in a position to spend any money. But I did it anyway. And the Lord has shown up in the most miraculous ways. Mamas…please don’t let the cost of cheerleading (or any sport) be the reason your kid stops chasing their dreams.
