Felt doesn’t heat transfer very good! 100% polyester (vegan suede) is amazing, try buying a small iron, so much easier

Depending on what your instructions say, you would probably benefit from a little Cricut mini press. Would fit along the brim and you can change the temp on it

Stupid idea, but, what if you applied some sort substance on the hat to make the paper and ink to set on? like what tattooist's use. Might be a stupid idea, but anything could help.
