The Bible teaches that God exists outside of time, so what feels like a long waiting period to us may not be experienced the same way after we die. From that perspective, the moment we pass could feel immediate like stepping straight into what God has already prepared. It may not feel like “waiting” at all. Because of that, I sometimes think of it like this: when we die, we’re no longer bound by time, and we may immediately experience what God has already set in motion whether that’s being with Him or witnessing the fulfillment of His promises, like the return of Christ. Not because time is literally sped up, but because we’ve stepped outside of it into God’s eternal reality. So rather than imagining a long delay after death, it can be comforting to believe that we go straight into God’s presence, where everything He has planned is already complete

We all should have learned from our physics class that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transfered. I found a bit of my physics class in the bible when our Lord breathed life into Adam's nostrils. God literally transfered life energy into Adam. God's breath is living energy! Our soul is eternal energy and only has two places to go being heaven or hell. Because energy cannot be created or destroyed that is why where you go will be forever and final. You will never cease to exist.

This is one of those things I have to just trust that if/when Jesus needs me to understand I will. I cannot at this time so casually say everyone that the matter is settled. There are valid questions. Such as resurrection when Jesus comes. How are people in Hades when they've not been judged yet? I'm not familiar with partial judgement, nor understand why some who died thousands of year ago have to be there all this time suffering, pre judgement. I am 100% not saying I know these things, in fact, I believe I'm not even worthy to question God about them. I'll find out when HE needs me to know. Right now, I'm holding my faith in Jesus and fully accepting His perfect sinless life in place of my own. I want to continue growing and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach me and move me into alignment with Jesus, but this is one of those issues that is still outside of my comprehension. So I choose faith that whatever the answers are, one day we will learn that those answers were always designed perfectly and are exactly what is best for us. The God of the universe has it all worked out for us. I believe without hesitation in his love and mercy.
