I don’t think God changed his mind but instead he preemptively knew that Hezekai was going to pray and weep in which earning 15 more years of life. God is all knowing being able to see past present and future which shows God already knew he was going to cry out to him and already knew he was going to add 15 years of life to him. Thats just my thoughts
