Nope. It helps to adjust the side mirrors more toward the blind spots, rather than seeing the side of the car itself. When I need to park, I temporarily adjust them to see the sides of the car.

AAA says point left mirror into next lane. Eliminates left blind spot. You’re sitting on that side, you don’t need your car in that mirror.
