It was funsies for 3 years. And then the other “players” (that’s what they’re called) got tired of me proving the moves and locks didn’t work. But I only did that because I was tired of the dance. It’s literally a dance and the best aikido player that has ever existed is about 1/10 as good as the worst boxer or Muay Thai fighter. Aikido is WORTHLESS for anything other than being in the moment and exercising

Samurai used Jujutsu for primary unarmed combat. This was way before Aikido was developed into schools. Used for when weapons were lost/broken/whatever.
