There’s nothing wrong with the camera, but it can slow down sometimes when you’re taking photos back to back really quickly in program mode since it’s trying to adjust the settings based on all the conditions in the environment. Also do you have “auto lighting optimizer” on? That could be increasing the processing time. I recommend you learn the exposure triangle so you feel more comfortable in the other modes.

I think it’s to do with the exposure and it being too bright, it’s so annoying mine does it too

Girlss, i literally got the G7x camera couple of months back for like 1/3 of what it’s selling for rn. i am now selling it at an affordable fee since i was given a new one as a present.

this is so validating. i’ve had my g7x ii since 2017, just started using it for flash photography vs just video and i thought it was getting old. i was about to buy a new one lol
