@angel.appleton: I can’t thank you all enough for the love and kind words in the devastating loss of hogan .. many of you asked what happened and the vet said it was large colon displacement and torsion (twist) (colic) and surgery wasn’t an option because of the severity and they said he most likely wouldn’t survive it so they tried an alternate treatment that wasn’t successful. 5 years wasn’t long enough i knew I’d lose him one day but never imagined it would come this soon to say I’m lost without him is an understatement.. he was my therapist my best friend my safe place .. he healed me more than I did him.. I don’t know how I’ll ever live without him .. hogan passing in the year of the fire horse symbolically it’s The Gallop to Freedom (A "Fire Horse" Transition) A horse passing during this time is often interpreted as having "galloped away" into a heavenly pasture, passing during a time when their natural spirit-freedom, speed, and energy-is at its highest and The intense fire energy represents a release from the burdens of the physical world. How fitting hogan leaves this world in this year of the horse ..I love you Hogan you changed my life and to love you and be loved by you was the greatest honour of my life .. I don’t want hogans story to end here .. every horse that came here hogan helped in their healing I feel like I need to continue and rescue in hogans honour ..
