@monstrofarm: Not exactly how I expected this one to turn out… but we’re going to fix that. When I picked up this Pink Princess, I definitely didn’t think I’d end up with three of them all at different stages. This middle one… it’s fine. But I don’t just want “fine.” I want a full, bushy plant with deep burgundy leaves and that neon pink popping everywhere, not just spaced out along a vine. So here’s what I’m doing: I’m cutting the top and turning it into three cuttings, each with at least one leaf to give me a better shot. Those are going straight into water, making sure the nodes are submerged, and into bright, indirect light. Then the original cutting that’s already rooted in water, that one’s going into soil. I mixed up a simple, well draining blend of coir and perlite. Added a little to a small pot, set the plant in, and filled it in around the roots. Now she’ll go into indirect light, and I’ll keep the soil consistently moist for the next couple of weeks while it settles in.
