In Germany, we were first taught British English, then American, and finally Australian English. That's why most of us simply mix these accents and words, because it used to get confusing🫠

the reason why american english is so different from british english with aluminum/aluminum is because multiple words in american english are spelt differently so in america we spell it aluminum and pronounce it like that without the second I but in british english it’s spelt aluminium and is pronounced like that
