We need to to it at the plane door for safety reasons. ie: holding a child and a million other things. Unfortunately airlines are doing away with family boarding and now we have to board with our group and hold up the line. For all of you annoyed, we are 1000x more annoyed. The last thing we want to do is inconvenience anyone on the flight.

i’m flying in june with my 2 year old and i’m nervous about bringing his stroller because it doesn’t fold in half like that it folds flat longways if that makes sense. do you think i can still bring it?

the gate person always told me to leave it there and he’ll fold it for me 💕 one of the pilots after the flight was even kind enough to put my stroller together and i didn’t even ask he just saw me holding my things and my baby and decided to be kind and help out

I feel like I’m racing to get my stroller folded and bagged before getting on the plane so we get a bag with carrying straps so we get it bagged before the gate attendant checks our tickets

I wish my stroller would fold that fast! So simple! Mine takes 3 folds then I’m shoving it into a bag while panicking about people behind me 😂 but I have gotten off a plane once where it was out of its bag, opened and ready for me with the buckles to the side ready for baby 😭 i wanted to hug whoever did that. Best service ever

I go off to the side and fold it before boarding. It only takes 2 seconds to fold. But if my son wants to walk, I already have it folded before we walk inside the hallway to get to the plane.

It depends on the airplane/airport police btw. Some let us fold it on the ramp like you did, but some will want us to fold it before we board at the gate. That’s why I’m always ready with my carrier, just in case they want me to fold it before we board. So I can walk the ramp with my baby in my carrier.

I am about to fly by myself with that same exact stroller and have been going back and fourth on ordering the travel bag for it. I think you’ve encouraged me not to! Thank you for posting this!

We check our car seats at the counter and stroller at the gate. It saves so much stress and makes it easier getting everyone and everything to the plane.
