I’m so sorry that all happened! But glad you and baby girl are doing great now. Your anxiety about going back to the doctor is so valid 😣

I feel the same may happen to me 😭 ever since my third trimester my blood pressure and heart rate has been so high and my ob doctor said she may induce me at 36-37 weeks currently 34.

Literally my exact birth story except 37 & 3, no nicu and no preeclampsia but unexpectedly being induced feels like a fever dream. Easy induction, body did all the work and my first baby was born 12 hours later. Honestly the best outcome possible after it being unexpected that day. So surreal.

I’m so sorry you had to go through all that. I’m sure it was a lot of deal with all at once I felt anxious just hearing about it. I had to be induced because of blood pressure as well so I can relate to that part.

labor with my second was traumatic as well 😭 the morning I had her my blood pressure was 169/114. It was a precipitous labor and she was born 2 hours after my contractions started. I swore she was going to be born in the car

Post partum preclampsia I feel like no one talks about enough. It's so scary. I had to take my blood pressure every morning and send the numbers in after being stuck in the hospital for her and being on MAGNESIUM which really messes you up. Glad you guys are home n healthy!

Ugh I’m so sorry. I’m a ftm and my pregnancy was going so smoothly until the 3rd trimester and my blood pressure just stayed high so I also was induced at 37 weeks for GH. The birth was great and I have zero complaints but as soon as my daughter came out they could tell something was wrong :( she was in respiratory distress so I got to hold her for about 1 or 2 minutes before they took her to NICU and I didn’t see her again for 8 hours. She stayed in for 9 days. The most traumatic thing I’ve ever been through for sure 🥲

Literally had a similar birth story! was induced at 37 weeks while my husband was deployed so I literally had to have my mom fly in hours later 😩 and then 4 days later I got re admitted for preeclampsia as well and literally all I did was cry the entire time bc I was scared my baby was going to think my mom was his mama 😭😭😭 my hormones were crazyyyy

all your feelings are so valid. i was induced at 34.5 for preeclampsia. baby shower on a Saturday, OB appointment Monday where i was sent to L&D. i was so unprepared mentally and physically. she was in the NICU for a week. mag drip was awfulllll. i know things don’t always go as imagined but unexpected inductions are so emotional 🥺

Awww I’m so sorry you went through all of that. I got diagnosed with GH at 34 weeks. I had my c section at 37 weeks. My BP stayed high till about 13 weeks postpartum. I still have fear over my blood pressure and I’m 9 months postpartum. All the hospital visits, appts etc has given me like permanent trauma. I had my tubes removed during my c section, I couldn’t go through all that again. Congrats on your baby girl! Soak it up momma

: I felt the same way with the “ not pushing your luck” with my son (he was born at 36 weeks cause I was induced) and then again with my daughter (she was born at 37 weeks because I was in induced) both times for preeclampsia. It’s a hard chapter to close, but when you’ve already dealt with so much, it just feels better to feel lucky for your two beautiful babies and move on🖤🖤🖤🖤

I was in labor for 38 hrs I had midwife’s and I actually worked with all of them. And honestly it was the worst experience of my life. I was already nervous once I got the epidural my blood pressure was 167/ 120 around that. And it was still high the entire time. I was put on so much meds and I was in pain from the epidural because they messed it up. Finally when it came time for me to push I was too tired so I had to have a c-section. I had preeclampsia that whole time and they did nothing. And I was on a lot of meds when I got home. I envy the girls who had easy quick births but I’m happy to have my baby here safe and healthy.
