@zoe.schipper: Breaking your talus (ankle) is not for the weak 🥲 What a roller coaster this has been. Needed a emergency surgery directly when it happened. As my bone was dislocated, broken and sticking out of my riding boots. Laying for I think at least 20-30 minutes on the ground in the forest. Ambulance that couldn’t enter the forest… But in the end with lots of help from my father and the stable owners we got me in the hospital. Have there a few days, back home, next appointment with another hospital end of the week and then next week second surgery with a specialist in these kinds of fractures So if anyone has tips for a quick recovery let me know, as I want to be quickly back in the saddle #horse #jumping #equestrian #horseriding #horsesoftiktoktok
