Pro tip: most major airports have updated TSA wait times on their website. Keep an eye on those in the couple days leading up to your flight around the time you plan to arrive at the airport for an idea of how long it will take. And for anyone anxious, I flew out of JFK on Friday at 1pm and had no wait but maybe I just got lucky!

At the airport rn, got to the terminal 5 priority check line at 1:45 pm and was done by 2:39 pm. Regular line had a waiting time of about 95 mnts (per the people around) I think it is crazier for early morning flights, afternoon are much easier

I had a flight in Terminal 4 - the Clear line was 10 min took me to pass , the precheck line was 2 hours - regular line was 4+ hours today - 3/25 3:50pm .

It’s 100% time and terminal dependent. Midnight flights in terminal 8 have no line meanwhile 7am flights in terminal 8 have lines out the door.

So around a little over an hour (I’m not counting your bag drop time) during spring break. Sounds about right, that’s why you’re supposed to get there 2 hours before a domestic flight. During spring break I would do 3 but I’m paranoid about being late at airports.
