CPSTI here! Several things need to be corrected here. First, You can not use both lower anchors and seat belt together. Evenflo does not allow this. You use one method only. Second, The car seat protector needs to be removed. Evenflo only allows their brand protectors. Third, On your initial lower anchor install the base was to loose and pulled away from the vehicle seat back. You want the base to make contact to the vehicle seat back. Push the base into the vehicle seat back and snug up the lower anchor strap before close the lock off panel. You are looking for less than 1” side to side (door to door) and front to back movement only at the belt path (were the lower anchor feeds through the base). I highly recommend you finding a local CPST or making an appointment with Evenflo Parent Connect to learn how to install and use your car seat correctly.

take your carseat to a fire department and have one of them show you how to properly secure it please! they are paid and go through classes to do so.
