@badxstudio: AI is coming to farms with AI-powered cow collars 🐮 Halter built a solar-powered collar that tracks location and controls the movement of cows using sounds and vibrations. No electric fences. No barbed wire. No humans on horses or ATVs. A farmer sits in his ranch, opens an app, draws a virtual fence, and the cows stay inside it. The collar monitors health, digestion, grazing activity, fertility, breeding patterns, and detects irregularities like diseases. It uses a proprietary algorithm called Cowgorithm to learn and train each cow individually. This is already deployed on 600,000 cows and Peter Thiel is backing the next raise at a valuation of over $2 billion. DinisGuarda :
It’s kind of amazing how something so physical like farming is becoming software-driven.
From fences and manpower to just drawing lines on a screen.
Feels like we’re going to see a lot more of this — turning real-world problems into interface problems.
