M salon is à la cart, but I include olaplex in all my chemicals and a gloss and a cut, and I give them a bundled quote high and low I give them a minute to say yes let’s do it or not. Since I do bundle pricing my clients feel like they are getting an experience and said they are pre booking with me and love their hair

Not one lie told. The client don’t need a la cart cause we don’t even know what we need. Come for a service tell us what we need for healthy hair — be the expert and charge your price.

I agree. I include all color techniques (root melt toner lowlight etc) needed in my price as well as bond builder/mask.

As a client I'd love the option to pay up front for a specific package. I also wish that more salons offered brief consultations for around $20 before appointments so we can have a full conversation about inspo/ realistic outcomes.

Any tips on how to transition out of à la cart pricing into this?! I left my commission salon that used to do this and now I’m starting to implement my own policies, it just seems a little tricky after my clients of 8+ years have been used to one structure/price range into a new one

Me personally I want the least anxiety induced decision making experience possible. I tell you what I genuinely would like but you as a professional and expert, I want you to tell me what is going to be best and healthiest for my hair. I could say hey I want you to cut my waist length hair to pixie and platinum blonde bleach it from black in one setting and obviously I need you to tell me to get that idea out of my head. If that makes sense
