Read below for more details & itenerary ! Also, my outfit is linked in my bio! This is part of my series on the corners of lle-de-France as you only need a metro ticket to access such wonderful places! And all within an hour or less of Paris. Save this for your next Paris trip-or if you're dreaming of one 🥰 *Visiting-while being respectful of locals, the environment, & small businesses-helps support these towns & gives Paris a little space to breathe☺️* Sceaux and the park are a wonderful day trip from Paris! We took the RER B to Sceaux which is about a 20 minute ride (it’s just a metro ticket fee, 5€ roundtrip ticket per person, or it’s free if you have a Navigo pass). Then we walked about 10 minutes to the center of the town to get our supplies for our picnic! Then down the street, we headed to Parc de Sceaux, which is a beautiful typical French park that’s over 180 hectares/ 450 acres ! We had our picnic under the cherry blossoms as they were at the end of their blossoming. This happes for about 2 weeks in the middle of April. During this time, you do have to reserve a spot online as they are trying to cut down on the damage that can happen to the trees with overcrowding. But you do not have to reserve if it’s not during this time. Then you can rent a boat for 11€ for half an hour ride or 15€ for one hour! It’s truly such a serene experience, gliding along the tranquil waters & taking in all the beauty of the park And for 6€ per ticket, you can visit the chateau, built in the 1800s! Lev, Lola, & I really do love coming here in the spring & fall☺️ Lola especially loves being able to run around and soak in the sun🥹 Where should I go to next in Ile de France!? So far in my series I’ve shown Provins, Moret sur Loing, Giverny, La Roche Guyon, Chevreuse, Dampierre, Meaux, Saint Germain en Laye and the Chateau de Monte Cristo #france #travel #slowliving #paris #dayinmylife
