OMG!!! I did not know that this was Finnish food but makes sense! this has been in my family for over 50 years. I'm not Finnish but my mother used to work at a restaurant that a Finnish couple had in the middle of nowhere NY. it was always packed and I thought they just turned macaroni into hearty meal!!! this is my family's 1# comfort food!!!!

I remember my Nana did this when we were kids and this tasted good. Im considered picky eater because I can’t eat muchrooms (allergic) and I don’t eat potatoes on my own choice and some seafood, clams etc weird things. So Nana did pasta with minced meat/chicken. Not I single kid left table without cleaning their plates
