Fun fact: Right before her "Listen, Ethel..." line, Lucy spat out the candy she put in her mouth because she forgot she still had a line to deliver to Vivian Vance. She tried her best to do it fast, while still looking busy with the candy and wrappers, yet also subtle enough so they wouldn't have to start the scene over again (which they rarely did), and all while timing it well with the audience laughing. I think she pulled it off well because I've watched this scene a million times and never noticed. 😂
