This summer I met my first love, a girl. I wasn’t hers but that’s ok. I’ve never felt something so strong, special and innocently beautiful as that ever. Things ended bad. I had to go to therapy, lost myself and my life for 6 months. Everyone tell me I should hate her. Honestly, even after I found out some bad things she did, I still care. Not in a romantic way anymore. I just care about her person. Cause even if we lost each other and that spark through the way, even if I fully moved on,I still cherish everything: the memories, the feelings, the lessons. I firmly believe that sometimes the only thing you have to accept if the fact that life goes on: whether if you like it or not, life continues to flow and you can choose to learn by the lessons you go through every day, taught by different people you’ll meet or to feel resentment forever and never learn to let go. Loving someone can be scary, confusing and sometimes hurtful but it’s also a reflection of yourself. The love you give, to your loved ones represents the person you are. You should never feel ashamed or wrong for still caring about someone who’s not in your life anymore
