@matteomancuso.guitar: The official video of “Solar Wind” feat. Steve Vai is out now! Solar Wind is the second tune I wrote for the new record, I knew from the start I wanted to invite Steve Vai to play on one of my songs, but I always felt I didn’t have the right tune or the right “environment” for him to play on. This song came out as my attempt to get close to his sound while maintaining some of my core elements. You can hear odd time signatures and some heavy rhythm guitar parts typical from Steve’s music, at the same time some interesting chord changes going on and a lot of layering of different guitar tracks both clean and distorted. (This is for sure one the tunes with the most guitar tracks!) Hope you will like this song as much as I enjoyed recording it, being able to collaborate with Steve was such a privilege and a dream come true. I will never thank him enough for his amazing solo!
