@lacolifeguards: Elevated air temperatures across the Southland brought thousands of people to the beach this past weekend. With the surge in beach attendance and increased ocean activity, @lacolifeguards responded with over 300 ocean rescues. As we move further into warmer conditions, please remember to stay aware of your surroundings, swim near an open lifeguard tower, and check in with a lifeguard before entering the water.
