Last Sunday, we took a trip to San Diego for a change in scenery. I needed a break. We decided that Leslie would drive Mommy, and the girls and I would ride the train. This was my girls' first time, and I can't recall ever riding a train. I was so excited, and it was peaceful. We met up again and enjoyed the day. We made it work. It's not easy, but it's possible. We rode @amtrak Pacific Surfliner, and the conductor was so nice. Amtrak is accessible for your LO. We got coffee from @selva.coffee.house and it was slamming. Got mango sticky rice at @cocobomb_sd! Baby, it was SLAMMING! And we were getting mango sticky rice before it became a trend. 😮‍💨 We went to @westfieldutc, and the accessibility for someone in a wheelchair is HORRIBLE when trying to get into the establishment. And forget trying to get to restaurants. 😬 We went to a restaurant to eat; it was so bad I’m not even going to name it. 🙃 We had a great day riding in the streets and hanging out. #alz #dementia #care #gertrudejordan #caregiver
