The book of Matthew says: “Freely you have received, freely give.” A real church teaches you to know Jesus, not to force you to buy blessings. 2nd sign: Questions are not allowed You ask one question: “Why does the Bible say this?” Right away someone says: “Don’t ask too many questions!” “You must obey the leader.” Truth is not afraid of questions. The ones afraid are often not you, but them. A healthy church will encourage you to ask, read the Bible, study the Bible, and grow in truth. 3rd sign: Meetings are lively, but life does not change There is loud singing and dancing, everyone feels excited. But when you go home, your temper is still the same, relationships are still broken. That is just an emotional high, not real repentance! A real church will lead you to the cross, where your life slowly changes and you become more like Jesus. 4th sign: There is status, but no love People who give more offerings are valued. New people and weak people are ignored or talked about. When someone falls, no one lifts them up. They are only used as a bad example. God’s house is a place to heal people, not a place to compete for status and fame! Dear one, remember this: discernment is not judging others. It is protecting your soul! Ask yourself: does this place make you love God more, or make you more and more afraid of people?
