I went to the ER for side pain and they told me it was just gas. I was then told that my gallbladder had 0% function and had been that way likely for half of my life and had surgery 😁

Dentists are my favourite kind of doctor for this exact reason. They take a thorough look at you and literally fix your insane persistent pain with literal power tools themselves or send you straight to the person you need to see.

Totally get why it’s annoying to ask about last menstrual period but it’s important to know if you’re pregnant so they know if they can give you an X-ray/CT which is how they are going to treat your arm 😭

I had an ovarian cyst burst and he said my pain was from CONSTIPATION (I could not move, I felt like I was having phantom contractions or actively dying). Anyway. asked for a different doctor

fell off my horse and screwed up my elbow, went to urgent care and the xray dude asked me if this could just be a period issue. mind you i was covered in dirt and had a very obvious scrape on my elbow and couldnt move it for shit

I went to the hospital because I was panicking because my baby don’t move for a long while in my stomach. I put that I’m pregnant. The doctor comes in asking when was my last menstrual cycle.. AND was trying to prescribe me anxiety medication and my friend said “she’s pregnant.” And he was like “ohhh you’re pregnant?” He was also obnoxiously rude.
