@roganplaysgames: Photorealism in video games in wack… 💯 #gaming #videogames #indiegames #GamingOnTikTok #gamingmemes

LittleBrisby :

$8000 :

dude's whole personality is playing indie games

remygobgob :

one Hollow Knight background slide will have more emotional impact than the whole IA industry

Lex Radu :

Why does it have to be an either or, when it can be both and? If Movies can be separated into Live Action and Animated, why can't we do the same for video games, and appreciate the artistry in both? Take RDR2 for example and Breath of The Wild. RDR2 wouldn't work if it wasn't Photorealistic, and Zelda wouldn't work if it wasn't cartoony.

Silver Soldier Retro :

photo realistic ≠ doesn't have art style.

Warren :

Wowowowow why are we dragging zaddy leon into this.

starrywhaleshark :

TIME TO RECOMMEND IN STARS AND TIME !!!

Allied Mastercomputer :

Here comes the indie glaze. If you just want a good game at all in general; Red Dead Redemption |/||, God of War Ragnarök, GTA |V/V, Asura’s Wrath, Dark Souls |/||/|||, BloodBorne, Resident Evil |V, Elden Ring Shadow of the ErdTree.

BeastyGimmick :

You had me till you talked shit about Leon. smh lol

SimplyTired :

HOW DARE YOU SPEAK ILL OF LEON KENNEDY

BugsnaxBoi :

would you like a low poly right cheek plate?

Messemet :

Was fully on board with this manifesto until you brought Leon into the conversation… let’s workshop this a bit to keep the booktok side of things from formenting inter-party division. Also, yelling is definitely the correct volume for this discourse 👍

YassineMad :

OMORI mentioned

Bublibu :

ena dream bbq has the most unique artstyle

Yohan :

Harley Q 🍉 :

Mortarion :

Hand drawn btw

DaemønGal 🎮📚🐈‍⬛👁📼 :

I think at least with photorealism, it should be used to make and design things that aren't actually real. I don't need to see a perfectly replicated London or New York, I can see those. I think it's why Avatar (blue) was so special to me, because it's realistic but it's all fantastical! At the same time though, absolutely give me unique art styles!

xtr4ngh3r0 :

You can love them all man, I play AAA UE5 games and crank up ray/path tracing to ultra on my rig, Play Persona 5 on my laptop, Play astrobot on the living room with the kids, Play botw/totk on the switch. True gamer enjoys all and focus on fun rather the graphics.
