Subjects are omitted when the meaning is clear. People just need to get more and more input, so you intuitively learn when this and that is right

One of the biggest mistakes people make when learning languages is directly translating sentences from their language to others. This is why Watashi is so overused as people tend to translate sentences word for word in their head. This is why immersing is so useful as you learn how sentences are built naturally and grammar patterns
