It honestly shouldn’t matter the gender of the person playing lev, just how much they look like/how well they can portray the character. This actor looks nothing like lev.

Ian's version of lev is fantastic, but are they not a bit too old to reprise the role now? (Lev is supposed to be 13 and Ian A is 24.) Having a different trans actor play the role would have been the right thing to do though

Like you said, it's not surprising. Everything is just going backwards in terms of tolerance and i definitely think they'll try to minimise lev being trans to the point i wouldn't be surprised if they just wrote it out altogether

To cast a cis GIRL to play a ftm character is transphobia and violence and no one will ever change my mind on this. I absolutely don’t blame the kid, it’s 100% on the show runners. I love the last of us games but I’m not watching season three.

I wrote my dissertation about this!!!! there are only a select few cos people id say did a good job portraying a trans person (one being Julie Hesmondhalgh 🥰) it's so disappointing continuing to see this kinda stuff tho
