I have struggled all my life with misophonia the sound of people eating, but my worst thing is the thought, the sound and just to see toothbrushes, hard bristle brushes and hard bristle brooms. It’s so embarrassing as I can’t brush my teeth and I haven’t been able to teach my kids how to brush properly. It is the most shameful thing about me and I hate it 😔

That’s not just misophonia. Thats a whole different sensory issue on top of it. Filing my nails is awful, but it’s mostly the actual filing, not the sound of it. I react worse to the tactile sensation than the sound.
