How is that possible? My kids had to basically fend for themselves with the flue… they called crying. I only get 5 days off a year and I have been working for 21 years for the same company

Shoot my last job 3 sick days per quarter. Once those were used. You used vacation days. Once those are used. If you have to take off call out sick. You get wrote up.

I just got hired on at chick fil a in Duncan, SC and asked what their policy was about sick days. they said the only way I could call in was if I have a doctor note. im a single mother. im not going to the doctor every time my child is sick.

I work in health care and still don’t have sick days. I dont even get vacation time.

With my job, we only get 5 protected sick days. I never use them as thankfully I hardly ever get sick. But when my daughter was younger, all my sick days were used for her.

What age can a child be home alone? When I was 10 I was coming home from school with nobody, But now Iaws are popping up by each state for minimum age Maryland 8 😱 Oregon 10, Illinois 14???

As a parent of a medically complicated child that would be soo nice all the unpaid days I had to take plus worrying if I would still have a job or not. Not to mention I have another child who isn’t as complex and the school is complaining about when she get sick and misses school
