@reggieann_: Where are my autoimmune girlies at? Please tell me what’s helped you & how you’re healing. It feels like a very lonely road at times & I wish there were clearer steps for me to take that don’t feel so daunting ❤️‍🩹 #hashimotos #autoimmunedisease #hypothyroidism #autoimmunehealing

Just got diagnosed :( do you still take hypothyroidism meds every day or have you gone off of them? And did it make your symptoms better when on them or worse?

Please, do you have anxiety? I am waiting non stop for something bad to happen for no reason. I am trembling, like my whole body and feel so weak in my legs. Do you have that? Thank you

I feel like gluten is my biggest problem. But I don’t know how to successfully cut off gluten. Is there a certain app or website anyone used to do so? 😩

I just found out that I am celiac and I have Hashimoto’s. I’m going to get my son tested tomorrow. All of this makes me feel very alone and overwhelmed. It’s good to know. I’m not the only one. 👯‍♀️

how did you know you had to cut out gluten/how did going gluten free help? I've seen everyone say it but I've been avoiding cutting it out because it doesn't seem to be a trigger for me

I’ve had hashimotos since I was 12-13 and I’m 28 now…along with RA at 3 years old. Such a silent, debilitating battle everyday but I’m more than my autoimmune diseases

Lupus girly here. Feel you on all of these things! You’re doing great. Just remember that what works for others might not work for you and try not to compare. It’s nice having a support system too! Keep a journal and track the crap out of everything! It might feel tedious at first but you really will learn a lot about what works and what doesn’t. Always here for you!

I’ve cut out coffee and switched to green tea until 3:00 PM; it helps me sleep much better at night. Alcohol is destructive for me, so I’ve quit that as well. I’ve started prioritizing my sleep because I’m seeing a huge improvement. I no longer do HIIT workouts—walking helps me a lot and reduces bloating. I also do Pilates at home and lift weights. Finally, I’ve noticed that a low-carb diet works best for me. stay strong girlies 🩷🌸

I recently started to go to the sauna after the gym. Low impact workouts when I have the energy and it’s the best thing ever. the sauna during flareups, I feel so nice almost heals, and the flare up goes away sooner than later
