Krisslee :
Past me wrapped my identity in the following roles until life forced me out of each one of them piece by piece. My role as a good, loyal daughter and sister always abandoning myself for whatever my family needed financially and emotionally. A devoted hardworking wife and mother who sacrificed daily to make sure I brought home enough money as a classroom teacher to supplement my ex-husband's income, while homemaking, and caring for kids. A devoted jr. high teacher and leader at work who worked at work and at home for 16 years. A generous friend who poured and gave everything. What i received in return and helped me drop the labels and see reality: betrayal, abandonment, rejection, hate, anger, criticism, slander, overworked, distrust, taken advantage of, and mocked. Today after going through the loss of my mother and subsequent abandonment by my family I learned that I am enough for me. I have peace that flows like a river minus the labels.
