I’ve been posting content on social media for 6 years with no actual plan No course to sell, podcast to promote. I’ve never wanted any of that. I’m not a fan of overconsumption and hitting you with links all day has never been my thing. So where do I belong here? What’s my purpose? I just assumed making you laugh and sharing relatable life stuff was it for me and i was trying to be cool with that. Then these stories started keeping me up at night and the former radio host side of me that l’ve spent years trying to suppress started to crawl out of the shadows She wanted to know more. Like, SO MUCH MORE. She had questions that couldn’t be answered within a character limit on Threads or Instagram How did these women accomplish those spectacular things? Were they terrified? Did they have any support throughout the process? Do they have any regrets? What’s next for them? Because pivots in midlife aren’t possible for ALL women. Or, WAIT... are they? I definitely see the irony in posting about one pivot and that leading to another pivot, but if these stories have taught me anything it’s that life’s too fucking short to not go for it I’m still figuring out what “it” is, but for now, I’m immersing myself in these gloriously inspiring stories, asking way too many questions to the women who’ve been kind enough to answer my DM’s begging for more and housing it all on Substack If you’re in midlife, something feels “off” and you’re not sure what’s next - solidarity, my friend Hit my bio, subscribe for free and let’s all figure it out together Also, please be patient with me. I have no formal training in writing or web design which is 💯 what Substack is, but I’m learning and trying Will I be leaving the world of Insurance that I literally just entered? No. I’m doing what any adhd woman who is a glutton for punishment would do and taking on all the things at once with the help and support of my new colleagues Burnout may be on the horizon but in my eyes that sure beats living with regret 🫶🏻 #fyp
