I made it several months with pads, but I was constantly leaking. I started using tampons at 12, absolute game changer! I was a competitive swimmer and needed more control than I could get with pads. Yes, I was a virgin. I think it’s important to teach girls that they are a great option when used correctly.

My mother purchased everything multiple brands, but I started with pads. I tried tampons and couldn’t physically do it until after high school. But I could talk someone else through it successfully lol

I wasn’t allowed to use tampons and I still don’t know how to use them. I tried one time, did it wrong and said never again. Also, one got lost inside of one of my sisters and my other sister had to help her get it out!!!!!!

I used tampons immediately, though i was 15 when i started. but even from the start i couldnt stand the idea of a pad, sensory nightmare. even now 25 years later it has to be a fr emergency to use one.
