I used to be a car salesman for 3 years. The reason she transferred you is because many dealerships have a rule that the first salesman cannot be the last salesman to speak to the customer. They’re thinking is “maybe someone else will be able to better convince the customer better and put a spark in them to buy SOMETHING today”. It can sometimes work but in this case, the GM did a terrible job. He didn’t even attempt to sell you a different vehicle that they have on the lot. It’s pretty much 2nd chance for a hit or miss opportunity.
