@ari.helvey: Replying to @katie♡ nail tutorial!! Everyone I’ve convinced to do this LOVES it . Especially perfect if you’re someone who goes to the salon for basic nails & doesn’t want to pay $60-70 every two weeks just to get funny bunny 😂 Everything used is linked in my Amazon storefront!! #nailtutorial #buildergel #nailsathomecheck #diynails

I use this brand everyday on my clients. The gelbottle inc is self leveling so flip your hand upside for 3-5 seconds and it will give you the perfect apex, then place in the lamp xx

As a nail tech of 30 yrs there is a reason we go to school and have training to do nails. Do you know how much damage ppl can do to their nails?

Babe you can use a sanding band with #180 grit do debulk the builder gel! It’s safer than using that 5 in 1 bit you are using ! 💖

That’s why I think it’s best to just get clear builder gel and just buy different types of gel nail polishes to apply them so it’s easier to come off, then later on you can refill on the clear builder gel 😁😁

Invest in a dust catcher since you use the efile and do this often

If you're using the drill at home I would recommend a dust catcher (you can get a cheap one on amazon) so that you aren't breathing in the particles, plus it makes clean up a breeze! You could also use a mask while you drill if you prefer/don't want to invest in the catcher.

I still take an hour and a half because I HATE it when my builder gel looks uneven! But I’m getting faster! I love doing my nails at home!

I use a base coat Essie couture nail polish a no chip coat and fast dry top coat and takes me about 15 min I change out every week to week and half my nails are growing like crazy and no drilling just use nail polish remover .

Do you put base under the BIAB and/or DND? I tried without and had lots of lifting.
