Bro….. 1 x 1 basically means if you only have one dollar one time you only have one and 1x2 is 2 because if you have 2 dollars one time you only have 2 dollars so 5 x 2 is like if you have a five dollar bill two times you have 10 dollars multiplying is basically Adding the same number with what ever number you picked that’s why 6 x 2 is 12 just like 6 + 6 is 12. Multiplying is just adding the same number together by a number so let’s say 10 x 3 in this point every 1 in a 3=10 so 1 would =10 so it’s like saying 10+10+10 witch is 30 so multiplication is just a easier writen adding . Sorry I went too needed out. But a number times the same number is not the same number unless it’s multiplied by one cuz the number 1 in multiplication means you have something only one time so you only have the number once. It’s like a cake.if you multiply a cake by 1 it means you only have one but when you cut in half your multiplying how many pieces you have witch is 1 x 2 and if you cut both of thoughs pieces you did 2 x 2 and you got 4 now it’s supposed to be just adding the same number by whatever the other number is that’s why 3 x 5 is 15 and 5 x 3 is also 15🧐
