We alway made this in my family and we call it pink fluffy salad and all of those ingredients plus a container of cottage cheese. I always thought ohhh gross!! But funny enough it is YUMMY.

The best one I ever tasted was a layer of red Jell-O a layer of sliced strawberries a layer of pecans Cool Whip mixed with Knox gelatin for the top layer goodness knows how much it would cost to make today cause it cost a lot back in the 80s

Remember you have to make this with canned pineapple. Fresh will destroy the gelatin due to enzymes. The enzymes are broken down with the cooking of the fruit in the can.
